Tommy Johnson

CHIEF GROWTH OFFICER

Tommy is the Managing Partner at a public affairs and government relations firm, Allegheny Strategy Partners (ASP). Prior to the launch of ASP, he spent over 15 years in the energy sector as an executive with Pittsburgh-based, CONSOL Energy and CNX Resources. Earlier in his career, Tommy was a congressional staffer to a United States Senator from Pennsylvania. He has served on numerous finance committees for congressional and statewide candidates, and as an energy advisor in presidential campaigns.

Recently recognized among his peers by the Pittsburgh Business Times, which included him in their Pittsburgh Power 100 list of most influential business leaders, Tommy remains active in the Region.

He has served on the boards of the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce, the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce, the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, and has actively served in leadership capacities across several state and federal energy trade associations.

He has recently served on the Executive Committee of Visit Pittsburgh and was a past chairman of the Three Rivers Workforce Investment Board in western Pennsylvania. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, he has proudly served at the pleasure of the Commonwealth as an appointee to the University of Pittsburgh Board of Trustees (2012-2020). Rooted in western Pennsylvania, community engagement has been a prominent part of Tommy’s experience. He has served on a number of boards in the nonprofit space, notably the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation.

Tommy resides in the North Hills of Pittsburgh with his wife Stacie and three children, Rylee, Jackson, and Reagan.
