Assistant Brand Strategist

As an Assistant Brand Strategist at GH Advertising, you will be part of an exciting agency and a fun group of people who take their work seriously. You will have the opportunity to assist the brand strategy and social team in writing creative briefs, tracking trends, developing insights, and gathering relevant consumer information for our clients. In this role, you will report to our VP, Strategy & Development. 

Responsibilities:

• Meet with internal teams and clients to determine brand objectives and strategies. 
• Synthesize insights from a variety of inputs (client documents, research, best practices, market trends) to frame the situation and identify a strategic direction.
• Develop market and consumer insights, running analysis and presenting findings.
• Write creative briefs and help drive the overall strategic direction of creative campaigns. 
• Identify trends and write a monthly trend report.
• Participate in and help manage workshops with clients and internal teams.
• Help manage qualitative and quantitative research partners as needed. 

Requirements

• Previous brand strategy experience (internship or in another capacity).
• An interest in what motivates people, as well as the trends that impact behavior. 
• An interest in building and analyzing brands. 
• Skilled at analyzing research and the ability to translate this into action plans.
• Vision to think strategically both long- and short-term.
• Adept at storytelling and argument-building. 
• Creative with the ability to think about problems.
• Resourceful with the ability to find unique and creative sources of information. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
